Skólasetning/orientation

Skólasetningar verða í matsal skólans miðvikudaginn 22. ágúst.

Nemendum er skipt upp sem hér segir:
- 2. bekkur, 3. bekkur og 4. bekkur: kl. 9
- 5. bekkur, 6. bekkur og 7. bekkur: klukkan 10
- 8. bekkur, 9. bekkur og 10. bekkur: klukkan 11
Alþjóðadeild kl. 13
Umsjónarkennarar fimm ára bekkjar og fyrsta bekkjar í almennri deild bjóða foreldrum í viðtöl og mæta þeir því ekki á skólasetningu.

Við skólasetningu gefst foreldrum kostur á að hitta þá sérgreinakennara sem munu kenna hverjum bekk, námsráðgjafa, umsjónarmann frístundar og umsjónarkennari mun í kjölfarið funda með foreldrum og bekknum.
Kennarar munu nú panta öll námsgögn sem nemendur þurfa, allt frá fimm ára bekk upp í 10. bekk. 

Fyrsti skóladagur skv. stundatöflu hefst fimmtudaginn 23. ágúst.

 

The orientation sessions will be divided as follows:
- 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade at 9:00
- 5th, 6th and 7th grade at 10:00
- 8th, 9th and 10th grade at 11:00
The International department at 13:00

The home-room teachers of five year olds, first graders in the Icelandic section will schedule individual interviews with parents so they will not attend the orientation day.

For orientation we will meet in the school's cantina where you will have the opportunity to meet me, Kristín Inga the school counsellor and Kristín who is in charge of the afterschool activities for 5 year old - 4th grade, as well as all the teachers who will be working with your child during the school year. This will take around one hour. The first full day of school is Thursday, August 23rd.
