In Landakotsskoli the teaching of Spanish language follows the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. This, abbreviated as CEFR, is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe. It’s divided in six reference levels (A1 to C2).
At the moment the highest level students reach in Landakotsskoli is A2, though the level is going to increase in the next years. A2 level corresponds to level 103 in the icelandic curriculum for spanish, but some topics of level 203 are also covered in Landakotsskoli.
